The second forum of rectors of higher professional educational institutions of Central Asian countries was held at Tajik National University (Dushanbe city) on September 13-14. The ministers of education of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, as well as the rectors of higher professional educational institutions of Central Asia gathered in Tajikistan to participated in this forum.The Forum of Rectors took place within the framework of the V Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia.
The main topics of the forum were cooperation between the Central Asian countries in the field of education and science. At the forum, 40 cooperation agreements were signed between universities of Central Asian countries.
