Academic Council of the Faculty of Physics

The Academic Council of the Faculty of Physics consists of 27 members, including 6 Doctors of Science and Professors and 11 Candidates of Science. The membership of the Faculty Academic Council is approved by the Academic Council of the Tajik National University. The Academic Council of the Faculty of Physics consists of the following members:

The work plan of the Faculty Academic Council is approved by the Academic Council of the Tajik National University. Prior to its approval at the university level, the plan is reviewed at the Faculty and approved by the Faculty Academic Council. The Chair of the Council is the Dean of the Faculty, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor Qodirzoda Z.A.

The Faculty Academic Council approves the work plans of the Faculty, the Methodological Council, the Council of Academic Advisers, and the Women’s Council. At meetings of the Academic Council, issues related to the admission of undergraduate students, Master’s students, and PhD students are discussed, and their work plans and academic supervisors are approved.

The Deputy Deans for Academic Affairs and Research report at meetings of the Academic Council on the progress made in implementing the instructions of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan as set out in his address dedicated to Knowledge Day.

Twice a year, the Deputy Dean for Educational and Student Affairs informs the members of the Academic Council about the living conditions and academic achievements of students admitted under the Presidential Quota of the Republic of Tajikistan.

At meetings of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Physics, reports of Doctors of Philosophy (PhD) are approved, candidates are nominated for the positions of Professor or Associate Professor, and the results of the university-wide scientific conference dedicated to “Knowledge Day” are reviewed.
