The educational program in The specialty “Computer Engineering, Systems and Networks” educational program is implemented based on the state standard of higher professional education. The program aims to train specialists who have not only basic theoretical knowledge, but also working skills in using computer systems and network environments, storing and transmitting information, and practical abilities to work in leading areas of technology and computers as a systems engineer.
Graduates of the program are prepared not only for information technology consulting, but also for research institutions, computer and information centers, systems and networks.
SPECIALTY 1-31 04 02 00 – RADIOPHYSICS AND ELECTRONICS
The specialty “Radiophysics and Electronics” educational program is implemented based on the state standard of higher professional education. The program aims to train specialists for the development, and use of electronic devices and systems, broadcasting systems and receiving digital and analog signals, and in-depth analysis of electronic systems for repair, design, and calculation of electronic circuits that protect semiconductor devices.
Graduates of the program can also work in the scientific, technical, technological, social and industrial, cultural, and managerial fields.
SPECIALTY 1- 54010104 – METROLOGY, STANDARDIZATION, AND CERTIFICATION
The specialty “Metrology, standardization and certification” educational program is implemented based on the state standard of higher professional education. The purpose of the program is to train specialists in the following areas: products (services) and technological processes, equipment of enterprises and testing laboratories, methods and means of measurement, testing and control, regulatory documentation, standardization systems, certification and quality management, scientific, industrial, social and environmental metrological support.
Graduates of the specialty 1 – 54010104 – “Metrology, standardization and certification” are prepared to work at manufacturing enterprises and in the Agency for Standardization, Metrology, Certification, and Trade Control under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
SPECIALTY 1-3102010209 – HYDROMETEOROLOGY AND CLIMATOLOGY
The specialty “Hydrometeorology and Climatology” educational program implementing based on the state standard of higher professional education. The program aims to train specialists on management and rational use of water resources, monitoring and observation of meteorological phenomena, implementation the information technologies for monitoring hydrometeorological processes and data processing; organization and optimization of the work of hydrometeorological stations.
Graduates of this specialty can work in profiling organizations for hydrometeorology and environmental monitoring, and in departments for environmental protection, nature management, and emergencies.
SPECIALTY 1-02050405 – ASTRONOMY
The specialty “Astronomy” educational program is implemented based on the state standard of higher professional education. The Department of Astronomy is the only source of training for astronomical personnel in independent Tajikistan. The program aims to train specialists in not only basic theoretical knowledge and skills to improve practical knowledge in the Astronomical Observatories of Tajikistan.
Graduates of the program can work not only in research institutes, universities, and secondary schools but also in all sectors of the country.
