In honor of the 32nd anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan on August 30, 2023, the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Honorable Emomali Rahmon, presented awards and state titles and awards of the Republic of Tajikistan. I also participated in the state awards ceremony and was honored to be awarded the Prize named after ismoili Somoni for Young Scientist Award for achievements in the field of science and mathematics by the great leader of the nation. I express my gratitude to the great leader of the nation, who always supports and appreciates our youth.
Over the past 22 years, for the first time at the Faculty of Physics of TNU, faculty members have been awarded a state award of such a high level. It should be noted that academicians Hikmat Muminov and Farhod Rahimi received this award from graduates of the Faculty of Physics in 1998 and 1999, respectively.
Every year, the Committee for Work with Youth, Sports and Tourism under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan organizes the presentation of State Prize named after ismoili Somoni through a competition. In order to ensure transparency of the award competition, a commission will be created from representatives of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and prominent scientists, responsible representatives of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
State Prize named after ismoili Somoni was established to promote and develop the scientific potential of the Republic of Tajikistan and to encourage young scientists who have done outstanding work in the field of science and technology. The number of this award is 12 (twelve), applicants under 35 years of age who have defended their dissertation for at least one year can participate in the competition.
In the competition, priority will be given to scientific research that will contribute to the development of fundamental, humanitarian, technical, natural and medical sciences, the development and mastery of equipment, materials and advanced technologies that will enhance the growth rate and efficiency of the country’s economic development and defense capability.
It should be noted that one of the main and great achievements of youth during the years of independence is the fatherly attention of the Founder of national peace and unity, Leader of the nation, the Honorable Emomali Rahmon, to youth. The great leader of the nation pays special attention to youth issues, including improving the situation with education and training, acquiring qualifications, professions and crafts, employment and gaining a special position for young people in society.
We, the youth of the country, consider ourselves the successors of the highest goals of the country, we choose the great school of patriotism of the leader of the nation as a great life lesson, and we take beneficial measures for the development and beauty of our country. our dear country.
